The Animal Welfare Society (AWS) in Kennebunk, Maine, is a non-profit organization that provides shelter, veterinary care, and resources for pets and their owners. They also offer adoption services and community programs to support animal welfare.

In addition to caring for companion animals in the adoption center, their work extends to the community of pet lovers locally and statewide. They also offer lessons and programs for children of all ages.

Some stuffed, plush animal friends, stay with children through their whole childhood and are then passed down to their children. This holiday is dedicated to celebrating your favorite plush childhood friend, confidant and playmate. So, if your child does not have a pet, and you would still like to take this opportunity to participate in this wonderful cause, we can beautifully capture a portrait of them with their favorite stuffed animal plush.
